Winter Nature Crafts
Bird Feeders
The Big Garden Birdwatch kicks off today (29th - 31st January) find out how you can join in here. Why not help out our feathered friends by having a go at one of these easy (and inexpensive) bird feeders? (Also a good way of using up those wrinkly apples I can't convince my kids to eat!) Just follow the instructions below.

Ice Decorations
As it’s going to be a little bit chilly this week we thought we would inspire you to make some wintery beauty. These decorations are really simple and can be made with things you find from around the house (ask permission from an adult) as well as some collected nature treasures.
We tried a few different 'hangers' and found that twine or old/odd pieces of ribbon were best for displaying our ice art. When freezing make sure you place your decorations on a flat surface somewhere they won't get knocked over.
If you feel that you need a bit more guidance, you can find a set of instructions here.
