What's On at Grow

At Grow Wellbeing, we believe in the power of nature to support wellbeing, learning, and belonging. Every session we run — whether for children, families, or professionals — is rooted in respect for both the individual and the natural environment. We value each person for who they are and what they bring.

Book A Session

We run a variety of nature-based workshops and programmes open to the public — including sessions for children, families, and adults. These take place in parks, woodlands, and other community spaces.

What's on at Bentinck Street Community Garden

Thanks to incredible community support and a generous donation from Liverpool City Region, we’ surpassed our crowdfunding target and since our fundraising campaign, together with the local community we have transformed the Bentinck Street site into a vibrant, sustainable, biodiversity-rich community garden.⁠

 

As part of ongoing life of the Garden, we are running a series of free workshops and gardening sessions, open to all.

 

Whether you're looking to learn new skills, meet people, or just enjoy time in nature, there's something here for you.

Bentinck Street Garden Kids Club

Saturdays 10am-12pm 

 

12 Free Saturday morning sessions at Bentinck Street Community Garden for ages 5–14. ​

Hands-on making, exploring, optional gardening and hanging out in a beautiful place with friends, led by our qualified team. Places are free. You are welcome to book on all sessions, a single session, or as many as you would like. However, all session bookings need to be made individually at the moment. The Fire Place

Thursdays 4.30pm-6.30pm

Weekly after-school sessions for young people aged 11-18 years

Free Thursday evening after-school sessions at Bentinck Street Community Garden for ages 11-18 years. ​​Learn new outdoor skills like fire lighting and tool use whilst hanging out in a safe  place with friends, led by our qualified team. Bentinck Street Gardening Volunteers Club

Saturdays 9am-11am 

 

Regular Volunteer Sessions at the Garden

We have regular volunteer sessions at the Bentinck Street Community Garden each Saturday from 9-11am.

If you would like to become a regular volunteer, please complete the sign up form below.

What's on at Bidston Hill

Youth In Nature Program for 11-18yr olds

Youth in Nature is an exciting, free outdoor group for 11-18 year olds, running fortnightly on Saturday mornings 10:00-12:00 at Bidston Hill.

 

Get hands-on with fire lighting, shelter building, tool use, nature ID, and creative projects, while also making a difference through community gardening, climate action, and leadership opportunities.

 

Each session is packed with adventure, discovery, and the chance to connect with nature and new friends.

 

Spaces are limited to 12 per session.

The sessions run fortnightly (with a breaks for school holidays)  and you can book one at a time.

These session are free of charge and funded by the National Lottery.
