Fast, efficient and forest-floor friendly – a high-quality outdoor kettle trusted by the Grow team
At Grow-Wellbeing, we’ve boiled thousands of kettles outdoors – and we still rely on our classic Kelly Kettles as everyday workhorses. They're great value, simple to use, and hold up well in our woodland sessions. But when we need a more robust, feature-rich option — especially in shared or sensitive natural spaces — we turn to the Petromax Fire Kettle.
Available in two sizes, this stainless steel kettle uses a chimney-style fire chamber to boil water fast using twigs, cones, bark or other natural fuel. What makes it stand out is the fold-away stand, which keeps the firebowl off the ground and helps protect forest floors — ideal for forest school sites, nature reserves and community gardens.
Both sizes can also be used to warm a small pan or mug over the chimney, offering some flexibility for heating food as well as drinks.
